Head Coach - Yanto

Hello! I'm Yanto, the head coach of Whitesand Bali.

Originally from Nias, Sumatra, I moved to Bali at the age of 12, where I was introduced to the world of surfing. Growing up on the island, the ocean became my playground, and surfing quickly became my lifelong passion.

With over 11 years of professional coaching experience, I created Whitesand Bali as a way to share my love for surfing and the ocean with others. My goal is to empower my students to become independent and conscious surfers, fostering a respectful surf culture where we can all enjoy the lineup together.
